Springboard: ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business

Professional Accountancy Training (PAT) have collaborated with the ACCA to deliver the Diploma in Accounting and Business at Level 6 equivalent of the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

ACCA F8/AA – Audit and Assurance

In ACCA AA Audit and Assurance (formerly F8) you will study the process of carrying out assurance engagement and its application in the context of the professional regulatory framework.

ACCA F1/FAB – Accountant in Business

ACCA FAB Accountant in Business (formerly F1) is designed to develop an understanding of the business environment and the role of accounting and other key business functions in contributing to the efficient, effective and ethical management of an organisation, its people and systems.

ACCA F2/FMA – Management Accounting

In ACCA FMA Management Accounting (formerly F2) you will gain an in-depth understanding of management accounting techniques to support management in planning, controlling and monitoring performance in a variety of business contexts.

ACCA F3/FFA – Financial Accounting

In ACCA FFA Financial Accounting (formerly F3) you will learn the underlying principles and concepts relating to financial accounting and technical proficiency in the use of double entry accounting techniques, including the preparation of basic financial statements.

ACCA F4/LW – Corporate and Business Law

In ACCA LW Corporate and Business Law (formerly F4) you will glean knowledge and understanding of the general legal framework, and of specific legal areas relating to business, recognising the need to seek further specialist legal advice where necessary.

ACCA PM/F5 – Performance Management

The aim of ACCA PM Performance Management (formerly F5) is to develop knowledge and skills in the application of management accounting techniques for planning, decision-making, performance evaluation and control.

ACCA F7/FR – Financial Reporting

In ACCA FR Financial Reporting (formerly F7) you will develop the knowledge and skills in understanding and applying accounting standards and the theoretical framework in the preparation of financial statements of entities, including groups and how to analyse and interpret those financial statements.

ACCA SBR – Strategic Business Reporting

In ACCA SBR Strategic Business Reporting (formerly P2) you will develop the knowledge and skills to exercise professional judgement in the application and evaluation of financial reporting principles and practices in a range of business contexts and situations.

ACCA P7/AAA – Advanced Audit and Assurance

ACCA AAA Advanced Audit and Assurance (formerly P7) is designed to enable candidates to analyse, evaluate and conclude on the assurance engagement and other audit and assurance issues in the context of best practice and current developments.
